Gnome memory leak fixes 10/20/07

A bunch of gnome updates were installed today (Gutsy), one bugfix that was mentioned in nearly all of them on update-manager was a (memory) leak. Since the updates, I've noticed that windows draw, scale, and move much more fluidly (using metacity, no compiz). This is just great!

I was wondering if others have noticed the same thing.

hmm, i havent had that update yet I dont think... but sounds like something I could do with... I have been suffering from black screens when I have about 4 windows open or more, which leads me to believe it is a memory leak...

hopefully I haven't had it yet and it is still to come and fix my computer!
