I'm only going to use it for threads that have this symbol beside them:

(Just kidding RAV TUX. Your threads add a lot.)

I am shocked that such a thing would even be considered.

I thought the whole point of this forum was to help people not ignore them. Where's the ubuntu spirit in that?

There's an ignore thread feature? :o

Seriously, I don't even see it, but it may be useful in the future, especially to ignore threads that continually come up in the search function that I know won't help with whatever problem I'm having at the time.

Will we be able to see how many "Ignore" a thread gets?

:) Certain people would make a competition out of that!

 Eric the GreyI started with the backyard, I ended up setting every Backyard thread to ignore, I tried ignoring the whole backyard but that function in the userCP didn't seem to work.

The function is not to ignore people who need help but to ignore threads that you would never read in the first place like in the Cafe and the Backyard mostly.

It cleans up your personal ubuntuforums.org, much like the pre-existing "Ignore Forum" feature, but instead of ignoring a whole forum you can just ignore a individual thread instead.

I like it. Good idea. I have this problem where righteous indignation boils out of my pores at trolls, so I feed them. This will help.
