Ok, us linux-users know they're not truly platform agnostic, but this is a step in the right direction. Maybe this is the chance for OpenGL, AL and IL to step up and be counted??

I doubt it will ever work out :( Sounds cool that I dont need to buy 3 consoles to play the games I like though, so I will support the idea...

the only reason EA wants this is they are port whores who release a franchise on every possible system to maximize profits....audience on an entire singular platform means more users...less work and expense porting. I hope we never see a singular platform that is how things stagnate

Seeing how well IE falls in line with web standards, I am sure XBox will be leading the way to this utopian future. ;)

This is the #1 reason why Windows has its problems IMO. Standardize everything and you generally go backwards.
