I have been searching for easy to use Survey software to do some academic research into the barriers to Open Source Software adoption for users of proprietary software. I tried to install phpESP 1.8-cvs but is not easy to install and configure for a newbie. Can any of the developer community help me by developing a .deb that installs, configures phpesp 1.8-cvs, creates the database automatically and has a GUI frontend to populate the database tables? In short I need to be able to apt-get install and phpESP is ready for me to create the questionnaire?
Thanks in advance

We are a pretty much "Do It Yourself" bunch, which is I suppose barrier number one to people who expect the fast food approach.
To paraphrase Linus, "I do a days work and at the end have thousands of days work available to me".

No time to create a .deb here, but I can assist you installing phpESP. I've done it before.
So if you can just share some information about the problems you encountered I might be able to help you out.

Is there a way I can work with this in an offline mode? I have survey results now that I would like to play around with using PHPesp or limesurvey and bring to superiors to show how we can advance to the next level.
