View Full Version : Electrical shock from my laptop!

Today I noticed that right after pluging the AC adapter to my laptop, the first time I touch it I get a (strong) electrical shock. After that, I can put my finger again and again in the same place and I get no further shocks anymore.

I'm concerned because I want this laptop for my kids. Should I worry about it? Anyone with similar experiences?

Thanks!

Does it happen every time, and is it a new laptop?

If either of these is true, it'd probably be wise to contact the manufacturer/seller.

You're power supply (plugin) sounds bad. You should get a new one.

That could be a way to punish them:
"Children, if you don't do your homework, I'll make you use the laptop!" :lolflag:
Just kidding, but you should call the manufacturer.

That really should not be happening. Get it replaced or repaired, electric shocks are bad :(
