It looks brand new app to me. Any comments on it? Screenshots? I am not going to install it that quickly. First I need to hear impressions.

Yes, but those screenshots are not the new version.

It's in chinese forums : http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/about78311.html

If you use ubuntu-7.10, It's very easy to install it, enjoy it! ;-)

Codewars: The Bot Programming Contest

Dear Sir/Mam,
It’s our pleasure to inform you that ABV-IIITM, Gwalior is organizing its annual Techno-management fest INFOTSAV’09 from 6-8 march, 09.
One of the most exciting events of this fest is Code Wars. It is an online gaming contest where you have to write codes in C/C++ to run your bots (tanks) to fight against code of your opponent using the predefined APIs given to you. Codes for three bots have to be submitted which forms a single team. Bots will move, fire, catch and deposit flag, scan the arena for enemies, throw bombs etc. according to your wish... This is a platform for you to prove your programming skills and check out if your strategic mind can beat others in the war of codes.
In simple words we can say it’s just how you can make your code follow your gamier mind!!!!
For further details please visit our website
http://codewars.infotsav.org

Register yourself for the event at:
http://codewars.infotsav.org/register.php

For any query please mail us at
codewars@infotsav.org

Last date of the submission of the codes is 4th March 2009.
(Send your codes to codewars@infotsav.org)

Looking forward for an enthusiastic response...
With Regards
Team Code Wars
