I call it a wallet, but my father (63) calls it a billfold and I though it was slightly humorous. Silly old people!

Wow! I'm the only one who voted billfold. I usually say billfold, but sometimes I say wallet.

Think about it. Billfold makes a lot more sense than wallet. You take your dollar bills, put them in, and fold them. Billfold.

What is wallet? Sounds like something you should hang on the wall.

I call it billfold, but I rarely have any bills in it.

Well, here in the UK, we call ladies' wallets "purses". But I think that means something different in your language.
