I run Ubuntu Feisty and have successfully installed the VMWare Server Console in order to run XP as a virtual machine. Everything seems to work fine except I am unable to add any devices to the virtual machines settings. I turn the virtual machine off, go to edit the settings of the virtual machine, and when I click the "Add" button it does nothing the first time. After clicking it a second time it freezes my VMWare and I have to force quit it.
All I want to do is add sound. Eventually I'll want to add other USB devices for my web cam, flash drives, piano keyboard, etc. Does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this? I've spent two weeks trying to figure it out on my own, searched google and poured over these forums from something that might help me but I've not found anything.
I appreciate any and all help.
