Hi I want to make camera streaming through http,
but I don't don't know how to setup the servers folder, I have made a new folder on the server> /cam/
My goal is to send images to the /cam/ folder through http posting, and then the webage will refresh each second to seek for new picture.
Now I need to use http or ftp to upload picture from the webcam?

Camorama Webcam Viewer I think has both opitons. It's in the repos. Use synaptic or sudo apt-get install camorama

Were you able to get this working? I'm looking to do the same thing and wondering what software might work.

Yes I did, I found how.
You can use camera widgets, like wengovisio widget or simular.
It offers you free camera and microphone chat for your web site.

But it has problem's with centering.
