which microsoft services do you use?

Same here. I'm trying to more to Jabber though, but poor filetransfer support over MSN Transport has hade that difficult.

MSN is the only Microsoft service I use though!

Don't even have an Xbox anymore since me and the missus decided to purge the house of anything related to Microsoft. Sorry if this may seem a bit extreme, but well, we don't like their practices.

I actually use live search on occasion.

Paradoxically I started using live search when i migrated to Ubuntu 14 months ago. When I was using Windows I would refuse to use MSN / Live search on principle since I object to Microsoft using its operating system monopoly to get into the search market, but when using Ubuntu and Firefox that ethical argument is no longer relevant.

I will use Microsoft services but only from a computer that is using a non Microsoft browser on a non Microsoft OS

MSN Messenger : Can't help it, as everybody uses it here. Same goes for hotmail, sometimes. No luck getting people on other alternatives.

I used to use MSN, still do sometimes, but only using mob.ebuddy.com

Kopete won't connect to MSN, either will Pidgin or aMSN or countless others, I'm pretty sure it's my ISPs fault, but the only person I talk to muchy on the internet is g/f and she has Wengophone so no point with MSN, though it'd be nice if it'd work, I probably would use it then

i use msn occasionally still, and it's fine for me. i suppose jabber would be ideal, but a few of my far-away friends use msn; no sense in bothering people to change protocols..

I used to use MSN messenger, along with AIM and Yahoo! messenger, but that was a long time ago. Now, I just plain don't use them.
