Hi There
I am new to Ubuntu, I have used Suse earlier, but I got this computer at work, where Ubuntu was already installed and I am not yet sure if I keep Ubuntu and don't install Suse again, as I kind of have some problems getting used to Ubuntu..
anyway, my question concerns GMT, I have previously used it on Suse without any problems (there you install it via the GMT webpage).. Now I have obtained GMT with the package manager, but when I try to run a script, previously written in Suse, I get a problem. I try to run:
GMT pmc.nocal.hires.gmt
then I get the error:
exec: 143: /usr/lib/gmt/bin/pmc.nocal.hires.gmt: not found
so I guess something is wrong in the installation, as I am running the the file in the folder where pmc.nocal.hires.gmt lies, but somehow GMT is looking for it in its own folder..
any suggestions what I did wrong?
thank you!
