:KS I'm so happy to be an Ubuntu user. It's a real eye opener - amazingly good. I'm a newb, that's for sure. But everything I've needed to set up or configure has been a breeze with Ubuntu.

I hope to get Ubuntu 7.10 as soon as it's ready.

I still like to use W*****s for games but Ubuntu is my choice system for internet / productivity and everything else.

Just wanted to say thankyou for all the hard work to the people who make Ubuntu so great!

Thanks everyone for your replies. There have been one or two challenges but now that I've resolved them it is a very rewarding experience - really looking forward to 7.10 now!

i use windows a little bit myself and everytime it makes me appriciate my ubuntu. like right now this one program freezes and even after i end task/end process, the window stays and the entire system becomes unstable and isn't happy again until a reboot. and that's a small program on a 2.34ghz duocore2 2gb running only the os-xp. where oh where are you xkill? who knows how to terminate with prejudice?
