Hi Guys,

I need a CMS where users can create accounts by signing up online once they have signed up they need a profile and a place to upload files, in their profile it needs to show all the files they have uploaded.

These files need to be searchable by other users and possibly the public. I am also in the process of building a desktop application that can access the database. For each file there needs to be a voting system so users know if the file is good or not.

I'm sure this sort of thing is not uncommon but I am no expert with CMS :D

Thanks in advance,

Regards

Wouldn't Joomla! (maybe with some extentions) do the this?

Try Jinzora with Joomla. Both are Open Source, and are excellent.
I actually plan on starting a free, open music site for indie artists soon, I would highly recommend this software.

Cheers Guys,

Have used Joomla before (a bit) so that would deff be the best choice.

Sorry if my original title was a bit off putting I don't actually want to put the music file's them self online but an info file about each track online.

Jinzora does look impressive though! :)
