Project Peach...

I just noticed this, and did a search and found no one wrote about it, so I thought I would. It was just announced a week ago that the makers of Elephant's Dream would make a second open source movie called Peach (http://peach.blender.org/). According to the About page, it will be different from Elephant's Dream, as it will be "funny and furry". You can read more about it here (http://peach.blender.org/index.php/about/).

It was announced months ago. I'm very exited about it. Blender made huge progress thanks to Elephant's Dream and all that fur will for sure demand some improvements. And fun and furry will get more notice than different and deep (read: hard to understand).

And the fact that Sago, the man behind these shorts, http://download.blender.org/demo/movies/bc06/Sago_ManInMan.avi and http://sago.nl/movies/TonVsTESC.avi, will do the directing makes me really look forward to watching the movie.
