Neil Peart's drum solo in the live version of YYZ (from "Exit ... Stage Left" by Rush) is pretty good, I think.

Another Rush fan! :D
Have you seen them this tour? They were great! Hope I can catch them in 2008, for their extended tour dates (Apparently about 46 more dates are being added for '08!)

Edit: Neil also did a Buddy Rich tribute concert, where he performs a drum solo. (Just to combine the two choices above) And just in case some of you haven't seen this:

He also has a Buddy Rich tribute section to all of his live drum solos with Rush now, which I think are better than the one he played at that concert, overall.

I like "The Bad Plus". They're all amazing, including their drummer. I think there are a few video on YouTube. My favorite is http://youtube.com/watch?v=OruzDa0He-g :)

wtf

i'm not sure i understand your question.

prizrak, back in the late 70s, i was in the berkshires when ondekoza was playing with the boston symphony orchestra at tanglewood. they played, by themselves, at various times during the weekend and you could hear their drumming all through the valley. it was pretty cool.

Actually I haven't but I'm sure it was a great show. (They did come to San Diego so I should have.) They're like The Rolling Stones, they'll be touring forever!

Without a doubt. Moby **** solo ain't bad either ;) Also witnessed a great drum solo by Ian Paice of Deep Purple at their gig at Knedworth park. Can't find any footage of it though.
