Here are screenshots of my e17 Shelf all though admittedly it is so small it may be a challenge for you to see whats on it.(if you click on the images it will take you to the Optickle Art website where you can click on the images to see full screen)

My e17 Shelf is set to stay always on top, and is small enough that it stays right inside of both the Firefox and Opera Status bars.

on my shelf I have :

from left to right: start>pager>iBar>CpuFreq>clock>iBox
