If you haven't noticed already, I am using Xubuntu again.

Here I want to show the many faces of my Xubuntu...

I have on my Xubuntu many different faces, here are just a few:

XFCE on Xubuntu:

e17 on Xubuntu:

KDE on Xubuntu:

GNOME on Xubuntu:

jwm on Xubuntu:
http://cafelinux.org/OptickleArt/albums/userpics/normal_snapshot5%7E0.png (http://cafelinux.org/OptickleArt/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=4)

I have more DE/WM's installed, so I will have more to share later.

What does the many faces of your OS look like?

Wow, the first one, with the window manager of xfce, has an amazing wallpaper. Where did you get it from? :) Btw, the wallpaper of the screenshot with KDE is very nice too.

I really like this E17. I think I am going to try this one out soon :-)

Got an old, spare notebook around. P3-600 with 128mb of RAM. Is this enough for E17?

I switched too xubuntu and love it. upgraded the kernel before i started tweaking and adding programs.xubuntu runs great on 2.6.22-12-generic .think saying xubuntu is for old computers is misleading xubuntu is a great system for all computers.

Try this site (http://www.opendesktop.org/?xsection=art&PHPSESSID=72f60ab625be3d9879a19b18934b3b24) for general stuff, or one of the specialized sites (like gnome-look.org and kde-look.org) for stuff specialized for those DEs.
