i want to learn php, i don't have any book , i would be using online tutorials. tell me which packages i need to install for php programming. assume that i know nothing about php. although i am not new to programming.
some guy suggested me the following.
You should get apache2, php5, mysql5 as well as phpmyadmin.

Apache is as you probably know a httpd.
PHP5.* is the newest PHP.
MySQL is the best sql database to use, in my opinion.
PHPMyAdmin is a really neat web interface for MySQL.

I hope that you can use some of these programs. =)

but i dont know how what is their name in apt because apt gives 100s of results for them and i don't know which package to install. kindly tell me which package to install.
