Hello everyone!
As I've never installed any of BSDs before I would appreciate any answers of yours.
1)I installed pcbsd 1.3.1 in my laptop just a while before 1.4 comes out.Is it better to install the new version?

2)I would like to try out sabayon,I want to dual boot with pcbsd. Is it possible or likely to mess up the bootmanager or cause any other malfunction(apart from the risk losing data when bsd writes to ext2 or 3)?

3)My sagem fast 840 usb modem won't ever work in pcsbsd, will it?

Thank you for you time reading this and for any answer,I don't want to really make a mess of my laptop.
Cheers

1) Don't know enough about PC-BSD, sorry.

2) It is perfectly possible. Just remember not to overwrite the MBR if you install PC-BSD after Linux, though (and even if you did, reinstalling GRUB takes approximately 2 minutes).

3) Don't think it will, indeed.
