Hi,

I am thinking of launching two new projects that are intended to help the open source software.

The first one is called OpenSuper.com (http://OpenSuper.com) - I thought it to be "open source hit charts" watching the global popularity of different open source software pieces.

The second one is BreakMonopoly.com (http://BreakMonopoly.com) - I thought it can be an informative wiki that gathers information on how ordinary users can help break the Microsoft software monopoly (eg. using open source SW, bugging local authorities with ODF etc.).

Do you think these sites can be feasible?

Can't hurt to try. I started UbuntuHCL.org, and with absolutely no paid advertising I'm getting at a very minimum 50 unique visitors a day, sometimes over 100.

Do it. What do you have to lose? I'll give you free hosting depending on how much space you need.

Wall,

it is much more about time than money in my case... I did few not very successfull web projects in the past two years so I am actually still trying.

The thing I need most is attention :).
