Hey guys. I found this motherboard (http://www.xpcgear.com/pdsba1.html), and I think it looks pretty nice 9 I have a computer case that has 7 expansion slots.) But this is a server motherboard, so would it work well on a regular desktop? Thanks.

It's a mid atx form factor, and your case is an atx... you should be good to go

Okay, cool. But then it says server motherboard. Will it still work?

Okay, cool. But then it says server motherboard. Will it still work?Yes, I was/still am well aware it's a "server" mobo. Whatever it is that makes this board special to you... IDK!
Here is an interesting thought... Go here (http://www.xpcgear.com/contactus1.html)

Well the real reason why this motherboard is special to me is because it has seven slots on it, like the case I have. If you could find a seven slot motherboard for alot cheaper (I don't have a socket prefrence) that would be nice.

Just cause your case allows up to seven addon cards, doesn't mean you have to use all seven of them. You can buy a whole lot of slot covers for the money you'd save.
And yes, I am certain there is a seven slot mobo out there for far cheaper than this board.
Ok, I'll stop now cause it's your money, your case, and your *potentially* under utilized mobo we are talking about.

Well yes, I know I don't need seven, but I'd like to get a board with seven. The case cost me nothing (I had giftcards), so I'm keeping it.
