Hi everyone,

I have been on this for a while now. I am highly interested in boosting Ubuntu in Nigeria. I want a derivative on Ubuntu. Can anyone direct me to how to get the source code.

I have tried archive.ubuntu.com and i found out is the bin that is stored here. I want to get the source code itself together with my team and Ubuntu's support to accomplish this as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in writing Ubuntu Certifications exams.

Please any information will motivate me more to improve my local content.

Source code for all ubuntu packages is available from the repositories. If you're on ubuntu just run "apt-get source package" for any package that you want to inspect. For single packages using any OS you can also use http://packages.ubuntu.com (select "source package name" and some search terms)

For building a derivative distro, see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DerivativeDistroHowto

you should create LoCo (Local Community) for Nigeria - you would get more help going that way, including domain, forum etc.
