Does anyone no how to get rid of Google rss reader on Ubuntu firefox? Suddenly, every time I hit an rss feed I'm redirected to the Google website. It's annoying! I must have installed something or changed something. I like Google but this is a bit too much Google for me.

Cheers
Dafydd

You have probably set Firefox to use Google's reader. Just go to Firefox's preferences and change the setting in the Feeds-tab. ;)

ps. i though this was a 'general discussion' part to the ubuntu forum. some of the threads are just as unrelated (or related). wasn't there one about laptop bags for girls?

I love Google Reader.

What RSS reader are you using instead?

I'm just using Firefox's own Live Bookmarks. I have all my RSS feeds in a 'News'-folder on my bookmarks toolbar. Great way to check what's new on all the web sites I read regularly.. :)

I've tried a couple of separate RSS readers but in the end it's just nicer to read the news with the browser.
