What is TakeOver™?
Microsoft's TakeOver Technology is a free, fully functional security feature within Microsoft Firefox . It helps to protect the Windows Kernel against viruses, spyware, slow performance, security threats and unauthorized access caused by unwanted and malicious software such as Symantec and McAfee products.
