OpenOffice can't do arithmetic the right way, like MSOffice does.

In MSExcel this
=850*77.1
returns 100000

In OpenOffice it returns 65535

This is a major bug that demonstrates Linux can never be on windows' level.

You caught me off-guard at first. Nice joke.

This is a major bug that demonstrates Linux can never be on windows' level.First, this sounds like flame-bait, and second, it only shows that the OpenOffice developers haven't yet implemented the new format.
Might I remind you that Microsoft Office can't read OpenOffice's native format yet?

This may be a major bug, but like all bugs, this has(Maybe) a solution, so with time(Will take much more than you think;)), a solution will(Most probably not) be found, since in my opinion this seems to be quite an easy(But difficult since MS missed it for so long) problem to solve..:)

Man, I really thought you messed up your brains, you could get killed saying something like that seriously, but I guess the jokes on me, gotta pay more attention, I think I gotta listen more carefully to the math's teacher.;)

P.S. Linux sucks, I hate it, it's so unstable, it's bloaty.:(

That's a great example how hard it is to make software compatible with Microsoft's own standards. They even have their own proprietary mathematics :D

In all seriousness, it is not a bug, it is an undocumented feature.

"Microsoft Office gives you now 50% more than competitive products!"

"Microsoft Office gives you now 50% more than competitive products!"

I bet that evaluates to an imaginary number.

=.5 * competitive_producs

Result:

2i - 3
