Hello,

what would be a good gui-library (C-language not ++ :) ) to use for small school project? It should work in other Linuxes & desktop-managers also.

So far I've found Gtk+ and Glade.

I don't need to make graphical interface but I'd like to try it for learning purposes. I've experience in programming with java and some c ( so far console only). Should I go or should I no?

regards,

Linux newbie

with C linux UI, you should put your bet on GTK

@weedeatr,

for complete installation, in the console

sudo apt-get install build-essential
