Hey all,

After unsuccessful support from RCA, I've decided that my Lyra is too much of a noz to use with Ubuntu. Shopping around, I've started to fancy the MPIO MG 100, with an eye for the video playback and picture functions.

Knowing that, seemingly, the video encoding is done by software (MTV format), does anyone know if this player is a viable option for Fiesty?

Thanks

Well, the MG200 works in terms of plugging in, being recognised and transferring files, and the MG100 has the same MSC/MTP setup, so I'd say it's a good bet.

As far as MTV support, the situation is not so straightforward. This may be of interest (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=514943).
