My name is Michael White. I'm a doc in La Crosse. I'm running Fesity Fawn on two boxes. I also have Suse 10.1 on another box and Xandros on a fourth. I suspect I am a novice relative to everyone else, but I do want to see linux in general, and ubuntu in particlar, make headway and gain support and mainstream usage.

I like your enthusiasm Michael. I have no window boxes, two ubntu with one that dual boots with knoppix and have just started getting interested in Arch because people talk about it's speed. I've done most of my learning from reading the forums and googling for answers and getting on the chat channel at #ubuntu. More luck to you and the linux desktop! :)

I use apache all the time...i should be able to help you out. on my laptop i'm currently running over 10 development sites using virtual hosts...
