As a former mod I am well aware of the rules but I have received an infraction today to try and stop a member from continuing to post insulting post to me and to help stop him posting post completely unrelated to the subject matter...

While I started this new thread I was completely unaware he started another thread, I only included his name in the title to give him credit for his subject matter he was promoting.

Again, I support and greatly appreciate all mods and admins but I feel this is a bit overboard.

I was clearly and blatantly being insulted, the post were clearly off topic I was just trying to find a solution to make it stop.

I feel this infraction has wrongfully and mistakenly been placed on me.

Please review it.

bruce89 has PM'd me a formal apology, which I responded with a formal apology to him in kind for over reacting.

Please consider the resolution center as an active mediation center also.

What happened to bruce89 and myself would have only offended each other. We see eye to eye and have apologized to each other and I accept whatever the admins and mods choose.

I made a report about being insulted, I accept bruce89's apology. I in turn may have have over reacted and hope that bruce89 accepts my apology.

What ever decision is made to keep the infractions or remove them is cool. Let this stand as a public record that bruce89 and I are at peace with each other.

I see that it was a zero-point warning to begin with, and then subsequently reversed.

I understand your intentions, but it's still nonetheless best to try not to be confrontational. It is fortunate you two resolved your differences in a peaceful manner, but the situation is just as likely to just explode.
