Me? A geek? No way! Just because I use Linux, am not afraid of the command line, and spend my time answering questions here instead of working, I'm a geek?

Oh, wait, that's almost a definition.

nothing wrong with it unless you stay in your room all day and have zero social skills. your chair does not equal the real world.

Me a geek? No..never...impossible....
Does knowing how to compile something make me a geek?

Depends if you put off seeing people to fiddle with Ubuntu or not go out with friends (in the real world, not Second Life or something) because you'd prefer to answer questions on the forums

All the time, but I'm the one running the stable, secure OS, so I don't care.

I'm a geek because I used like to install Debian.

I'm a geek because I own five pentium II computers.

I'm not a geek because I run Ubuntu, though....

Geeks turn out to be great parents. Think about it.

As long as I don't cross the line into the nerd category...

I like being a geek though. It's funny when everyone comes running to me with their computer problems.

Anyone know a good web site that would show me what I need to do to get a suntan?

I think, deep down, I am a geek. Ubuntu helped me realize my geek potential :popcorn:

Geek potential is the same as Force potential, you know.

maybe you should try^

sudo apt-get install suntan
but if you really are a geek, then you do

USE="cream" sudo emerge suntan:biggrin:
