Have anybody tried the Zimbra Desktop for Linux?

I find Zimbra to be nice, but not quite as nice as Scalix. They offer a very similar product, but with Zimbra you are rather tied to their PIM software or the browser-based client. With Scalix you can use Evolution, Kontact or even Outlook with the proper plugins.

Note that Scalix is now owned by Xandros as of a couple months ago, and Zimbra was recently purchased by Yahoo. So pick your poison there.
