Hi,
I know this has been covered on this forum somewhat but not to my satisfaction, perhaps you'll be able to help me decide which content manager to use.
My hosting provider gives me a choice of 6 Content Management Systems. Have you used any of the following:
E107, Geeklog, Mambo, Nucleus, PostNuke, Xoops
What are/were your impressions?
Thank you.

Don't bother with PostNuke. It's a decent framework but easily hacked from what I've experienced.
Mambo is a good framework and easily extensible, but doesn't scale well.
Xoops is one I've developed for. I wrote a few modules for Xoops combining the gallery and forums. Plugins offer great expansion.
Joomla (albeit not on your list) is superb. Superscaler from a single page site to a multiple n-teir design. Very few match the power you would find in Joomla.
Drupal (again, unlisted) is extremely good as well. The scalable factoring on this isn't as developed as Joomla, however the feature set and plugin base is expansive much like Xoops and Joomla.
If I had to narrow them down: Joomla, Drupal, Xoops (in that order). If PostNuke was your only option, I'd suggest looking for another provider. Ask your provider if they will install Joomla or Drupal on your site.

I recommend Drupal, it's a great software.

Don't limit yourself to what comes installed. If you have a phpMyAdmin type of tool for database, and FTP access, you should be able to install any CMS. I made the mistake of restricting myself to available forums, and it was a pain in the butt to move from phpBB to PunBB for my CSS forum.

Surely it depends on what the website is for
