is there anyway to - take a current release of ubuntu - remove whatever pre installed software that would originally be installed - then add my own packages instead ...
would come in handy if i ever needed to do a clean install - and actually aviod removing programs and adding others since they would be installed with the ubuntu installation.. just a brainstorm
