A very pressing question (at least to my mind)

Now, I know that some of you will scoff at me for having such a dumb question, but the Internet has *gasp* failed me for once, and so I must turn to real people, who have far more intelligence than Google algorithms.

And now, the big question......

Are dual-core processor speeds listed per core or for both of the cores combined?


See, I told you it was stupid. In any case, any replies would be greatly appreciated. It's for a bet, you see.

Imagine having Processors that were half of the rated speeds per core...We would've taken a step backwards.
