Here's a place where you can list all the places where you saw Linux being used in a place where you wouldn't really have expected it. In sort, how Linux is slowly invading the international computing consciousness.

Here are mine :

In Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria - went there for a 3 day holiday, and upon venturing into a mall, I saw some computers running the Euphoria screensaver. Even my parents noticed that it was the same screensaver as that I use on my pc. So, I clicked a key to clear the screensaver and I see a nice KDE desktop..how's cool is that? I couldn't place the distro, however.Anyone else?

The entertainment systems on Delta Airlines flights that have personal LCD displays in coach run Linux. How do I know? Because the system sometimes crashes in the middle of the flight, forcing the crew reset it, treating all of us passengers to a nice Red Hat boot sequence. :-D Entertaining enough, but I think I prefer the music selection.

Quite funny...shame that it crashes though!

I live in Las Vegas and when I first got here I was in a Casino where I saw a guy rebooting a slot machine, as it was starting I noticed the ascii tux logo.

Virgin atlantic also use linux on their onboard services.

I've also noticed that it's used in the cash machine up the road.

I saw many in Indonesia. Many computers there are sold with Linux preinstalled even if the hardware is not well-supported.
