Yet another crazzy idea. A component system wide checksum. Kind of thought of this after doing some reading on a game page pertaining to problems with the game and nvidia and ATI settings. There was a lot of posts pertaining to bad links (wrong compoents or dud old components) and fixed that ranged from relinking to deleating offending files. Anyways this got me thinking if it is possible to have components given a key like a checksum. Now all the compoents say for something like the nvidia drivers and compoents etc. What this does is allows for a check, if the system is set up right it will pass a certain solution, whats more known problems will also give there own unique signature solutions. This would allow for tracking of proper linking across the system for certain components where this would be a benifit. Thats if it is at all possible.
