I thought that it would be fun to know how old each member is.

Ladies, if you wish, you may post the age that you tell your friends you are. ;)

34. I'm expecting I will be about average in this community, if its younger than that, all I can say is, it a great deal more intelligent and pleasant than younger communities normally are.

Admin... this is just a suggestion... but if there are any ages given in this thread that indicates a child it would be important to remove it.

This is the Internet after all, and we wouldn't want any of our young ones targeted for 'grooming'.

I do understand your concerns........believe me i do but i fail to see how a couple of us stating kids ages put`s them at risk of being groomed.

Besides,to be "groomed" a child has to be involved in the practices that put them at risk of being groomed.A child would have to be getting up to all sorts on their computers, without their parents knowing about it.:)
Our own children are doing quite a bit with their pc`s now but their certainly not sitting on social networking sites etc chatting to Tom,**** & Harry.

Their online safety etc was the only reason why i ever sat down at a pc myself last year and i think i`ve done a pretty good job up till now.

Next you`ll be wanting me to remove my avatar:lolflag:

29 here... And I think it's very cool that the greater majority of 'nix users are in the 21-30 and 11-20 groups. Not to offend anyone else, but it really means that a lot of people who grew up with a computer in their house are trying out new things, and migrating to 'nix. I want to see that trend continue.
