Announcement: Unofficial Chuck Norris week in UF

The Ubuntu Forums staff, well some of us anyway, have spontaneously decided it would be fun to give an unofficial tribute to one of the internet's favorite, long-running memes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_phenomenon): Chuck Norris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Norris_facts).

Starting now and running until September 16th (2007) several of us have changed our avatars, signatures, and even our user titles (only staff can do that) to include some sort of reference to Chuck Norris.

It's all in good fun and meant to be a playful and silly way to blow off some steam.

Want to join in? Just put Chuck Norris in your avatar in some way and add some sort of silly reference to him in your sig. (Please keep it within the bounds of the Forums Code of Conduct (http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php?page=policy), though. Thanks!)

WOOT! I finally get this in. I've been trying to remember all week to bring my camera to work and snap these pics as I go by.

The panoramic is of the main road (part of it, anyway) in front of Camp Lejeune, NC where family members usually place "Welcome Home" banners to the returning Marines.

The close-up is of one specific banner that I noticed after reading this thread. Now, either this is a massive coincidence, or there's an Ubuntu user on here who I've never noticed before.

Either way, welcome home to all the returning Marines from their deployments.
