firefox can be crashed with a font, confirmed by me - found font :( where do i send

can I sent a copy to ubuntu team since I don't use theirs but mozillas own , since ubuntu uses firefox maybe they would like to take a look at it.. yep I was selecting this time one by one and found at LEAST one ttf font that can crash firefox whole

i just selected it and whamo it crashed so I found the problem but where can I send this font sample to or the font as I deleted it from my .font folder and I was backup and running with my firefox profile, so umm... this affects the linux version I know of at least... and I got pretty much all gutsy updates but I didn't do a format and install of gutsy so I won't get any help from them... but again like I said it CAN AND WILL crash firefox... I got it zipped and ready..






edit: i believe this is a firefox issue within itself and asking where do I send for them to test this bug/security problem if any out and confirm confirm ?????

You are testing this against the latest Firefox 3 Nightly build right? If that's the case, well the easiest thing to do is report it to bugzilla mozilla. (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) If you want to ask other people to double check this jump into the IRC rooms for the test day today (http://quality.mozilla.org/events/test-days). That should do it. I don't think I got that font so can't double check...

Hmmm. Ok sign up for bugzilla and I'd search the site for this font error I guess. It may have been patched in Firefox 3 (by accident or intentionally) so it would be best to check against the nightly build (easy to compile and install to opt if your interested).

As for the font you can just host it on a site like mediafire (http://www.mediafire.com/). Then paste link here and keep it if you need to attach it to the report later. I'll try it if I get a minute later...

n/m they did the 3 version test and the pre 2.0.0.7 test and the version 3 didn't budge...
