I keep seeing a glossy Gnome panel in screen shots. I love it! The problem is - I can't find it anywhere. Here is a screen shot from the desktop thread that has it.

Where can I find it?

It is probably the "Glossy" theme that is installed by default with Ubuntu, only with custom colors. If nothing else, try sending a private message to the person who posted the screenshot in the desktop screenshots thread and ask. ;)

its from gtk or metacity themes. Many themes come with panel images. Also you could create your own glossy or 3d looking image and apply it yourself by right clicking on the panel > properties > background > background image.

for themes, go to http://gnome-look.org/

download a theme, then apply it, system > preferences > Theme

or in a console (or alt+f2) type

gnome-theme-manager
