Gaim's Buddy picture didn't show sometimes

I use gaim but sometimes my contact's buddy picture didn't show.
although he/she change his/her picture I still can't see his/hers.
Is it bug?

Yes that is one of many. Upgrade to Pigdin. They had to change Gaim's name. So go to getdeb.net and search for pidgin download both packages, and run the one with data in it's name first.

I'm Thai.
And I(we) have problem about Thai font in Pidgin.
That's mean I(we) can't use full feature IM in Linux, isn't it?

I've never heard of that problem before. What happens? it might be a font installation problem, I don't see why Pidgin would be having the problem, and not the entire computer.
