Hi,
I was wondering if any of you had some suggestions for hardware testing utilities?
Basically I want to make a live CD / USB key based on Ubuntu for hardware testing. I want to have it GUI based and the easier the utiliies are to understand for new users the better.
It will be used to test things like:
CPUs
Memory
Hard Disks
Disk COntrollers - like LSI RAID cards
Network cards - ethernet & fiber
Power supplies
etc
Any vendor specific utilies would also be useful - such as Dell OpenManage for example.
Hopefully this can be useful for testing everyting from home PCs to servers with 4 processors and 64GB RAM! ;)
Ideas welcome.
