That would be cool, real cool as LiveCD persistence is broken since Edgy. Lets hope it will be back in Gutsy.

But note that that spec was to be implemented in Edgy (https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+spec/live-cd-write-as-you-go) and is more than one year old.

Just getting back LiveCD Persistence (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDPersistence) in Gutsy would be great.
