German news magazine Der Spiegel wrote on Sunday that Chinese trojans were discovered on the computer of Angela Merkel and on the computers in three departments. The trojans were delivered as powerpoint and word documents, and were used to transmit data to servers in Beijing, Kanton and Lanzhou. The origin of the trojans were alledgedly from the Chinese army. German sorces claimed that computer specialists were able to stop the transmission of 160 GB of data. An anonymous source in the government said that the trojans were active for "a long time" before being discovered in May. The Chinese ambassy in Germany denies any knowledge of the trojans and claim that it is "irresponsible speculation".

Yup I heard of that on Heise.
Pretty ironic, Schäuble is pushing the "Bundestrojaner" on to the people and at the same time the government gets infested by spying trojans. ^^

They really should pay someone who has used a computer before to administer their systems.:)
