Around a month or two ago, I've opened a discussion about creating a site which would collect custom widgets for Linux
here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=482602), and announced
the begining of project.

Well, two moths have passed and although the site has (almost) completed "infrastructure" , it's not even near the completition , because it barely has any libraries/widgets posted.
That will take some time, but it will be done.

Site doesn't have it's own domain, but I've allready submited a name-reservation , so that should be taken care of in the next 24 hours, the amount of time my host needs to register domain.

When domain gets registrated ,it will be at this address :
http://www.stosha.net/ ,

but, in the next 24/48 hours ,

use this one (also my site):
http://www.stylet-software.com/test/

Anyway, I need your opinoin about general Look & Feel , perhaps you can register & submit
a link or two for some library/widget.

I would really appreciate the direct links to some GTK+ and Qt Custom widget, since those are the hardest things to find on the Net ( that's the reason I've made this site, to collect custom widgets ).

Also , I don't know a lot about Java , I need someone to help with Java's sections and categories.

BTW, don't make jokes about turtle mascot , I'm not proffesstional artist :) .

Thanks in advance for any help.

 , oh well, English has the hardest writing in the world :) .

Besides that , any ideas about sub-sections in Python?
As you can see, I don't know a lot about that language ...

WAAAAAY to Joomla!-centric. The site is too busy and I have no idea what takes place there. What is this site supposed to do anyway?

Site is Linux replacement for torry.net, codeproject etc.
Developers need sites where they can download custom widgets.

Site is currently busy because I've moved it to another FTP directory due to the fact
www.stosha.net is open for bussiness :) .

What's wrong with Joomla?

I think it's a great idea, you go for it. Linux needs more sites like this. Any help programmers can get is all good in my eyes. I have it bookmarked. :guitar:

Thanks, I know, best Linux project of all times, but I'm modest kinda guy :) ....

Anyway I can't find anything like fancy or custom-made buttons for Qt and GTK.

Does anyone know where I can find it?

If there aren't any, I'll make one custom button myself....

Well, in the mean time , I've found some Joomla's extensions with which you can make a normal, basic submission form.

The plugin is called perForms.

But, the thing I would really like to see in my submission form is Image-recognition.

You know, those things like: Type in what's on picture.

If you know PHP & Joomla, I can give you publisher's access on my site.

Just register with the same nick you use on this forum.

Offcourse no one is forcing you to do register :) ...

If you just tell me where to find such code, I'm happy.

The other thing: If you know PHP,
What kind of sub-sections do you think I should make in PHP section?
Maybe I should make sub-sections as I find libraries, i.e : when I find math library,
create math sub-section, found another math lib, put it in math sub.

Just to inform you all that site is fully opened and running full steam ahead.
Submissions are welcome.
You would only need to register first.
