Anyone else been blocked from accessing the My Yahoo service today?

Fair enough, I get warnings about Yahoo Mail Beta on Debian, but now just completely refusing access?! Why Yahoo, why!?

Just wondering - where do you see that Microsoft bribed them to do that? I'm not seeing that anywhere :P

That's what I figured, I just didn't want the thread to get side-tracked into a bash fest for no reason. :D

I'm guessing they don't want bug feedback for an OS/browser they aren't officially supporting yet.

How odd. I got that warning once on one machine, no warning on another, and it just won't go away on this one. Very strange. All 3 boxes are running a fully updated Gutsy

The yahoo beta works here, tried it in both normal firefox and firefox32. Both version 2.0.0.6 ..
What's up with people getting diff results?

It doesn't block me, however it does advise me to upgrade my browser when I visit www.yahoo.com using konqueror
but loads up fine when visiting www.yahoo.co.uk with the same browser.

if your using firefox you may want to do a google search on "user agent plugin"

this allows firefox to "emulate" Internet explorer , netscape, and opera.

this should get you out of trouble
