Where in NE Texas are you talking about ? If you are in the Dallas - Fort Worth area there already is a LUG here in North Texas. The name of it is NTLUG and their website is
www.ntlug.org. I believe they meet regularly in Irving. Hope this answers your question.

:) Yeah I saw that when I was looking for something close to home here. Unfortunately, I'm nearly 200 miles from there in EXTREME NE Texas. Out near Texarkana.
I've got some Ubuntu cds coming, so I figger on getting something started in our area as well.
