So today, I sold my ThinkPad to a guy in Reston, and on it is a fresh-installed Ubuntu system. His English wasn't very good, but I understood that he was a but apprehensive about using a non-Windows OS. He told me that he's more comfortable with Windows. But I pressed on, showed off the desktop effects, etc., and he was pretty impressed as was his family.
So I left with a sale and a new Linux user, hopefully. I pointed him to the forums, the Chinese Wiki, and the English Wiki. I'm also providing a little free support via email to help him ease into things.
Anyway, I may no longer use Linux, but at least maybe I've replaced myself :^)
