I just saw the new Canonical Store on the Ubuntu Frontpage thanks to a recent convert to Ubuntu I was helping over Skype :-) . I immediately bought the cool black t-shirt and cap, I'll post back when I receive them!

EDIT:
Here are the images of what I got, but I'll post others when recieved ;-)

There's a women's t-shirt. The back says "Linux for Ladies"

I like the hoodie.

So...anyone know some other online Linux store from which I could get a Linux-related belt buckle? Tux is preferred, but Ubuntu or Debian would work too.

thinkgeek has a couple nifty belt buckles (http://www.thinkgeek.com/apparel/jewelry/9317/), but nothing linux related :/

i swear they are the only nerdy belt buckles in existence online with the exception of the guys that took a real game controller and mounted it to a belt. and the guy that did the same with a hard drive

i suppose you could have a go at making your own -- reading this (http://infohost.nmt.edu/~val/belt.html) would probably help alot.
edit: well, maybe not alot.. but it's interesting anyhow.

I read that ages ago. When I finished my belt and took a picture, I sent the pic to her.

I checked out the hoody chocolate one: why are we out of the largest size (XX Large) ?! Are Ubuntu users extremely fat, or only the ones that order these wearables? :lolflag:

p.s. For the larger users of Ubuntu, I'm ashamed of my thoughts afterwards...

I wanted to order the cap, but a shipping price of €9 is a bit too expensive for me.

I can't login with my launchpad account. I always get an error:

I paid $40 shipping for a few t-shirts, cap, and mugs to the US.... it was about $109 for everything. They didn't ship two of the t-shirts (womens). No credit, or explanation other than not being on the packing slip. I have sent two emails since Friday with no response.

Why does this always happen to me. Right after posting i checked my email and there was the response....

Due to a technical error your t shirts were not dispatched. We have
picked the missing items and they will be leaving tonight.

Please accept our apologies for this mishap.

Thank you

I was trying to purchase a few items.... except that the only payment type available is 'Secure Credit Card.' Unfortunately credit card is something I do not have currently, and not planing to have any anytime soon. Do they have any alternative payment methods.

Have a friend buy it for you then?

Arn't tees inherently unisex?

i know there are fitted 'tees' for women (and men), but don't they sorta stop being a shapeless tee shirt at that time?

i know the offer a small, maybe request they stock XS if you want one?

Not where I'm from. Women generally want to show their curves, so the loose t-shirts are not very popular with women (I guess).

Hi, anyone know why shop.canonical.com is not responding since yesterday? I am trying to place an order but the site is down for some reason, anyone noticed this problem?
thanks...
Giannis
