How to register at QQ?

A few seconds ago I noticed Pidgin supports QQ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tencent_QQ). And just because it's got such a cute icon - a penguin! - I'd like to register.
But it seems the only way is to download the .exe :(

Any ideas?

Ok I found out. Just run QQ.exe in wine. It enables you to register, but not to run qq.

Just enter pw and id into Pidgin :D.
